The Clock is Ticking Down for Homebuyer Tax Credit!
Just a quick post to remind any buyers that the tax credit deadline is 12/1/09. That means you have to CLOSE on the purchase of a property on or before that date. Which when you back out of that deadline, it means a buyer really should plan to be under contract and moving towards the closing date by 10/15. This timing allows ample timing for all the processing of the loan documents with the lender, title work, inspections, appraisal, etc… 6 weeks gives some room for dealing with any possible bumps in the road! Please contact me if you are considering a purchase or know someone who is! Remember, a first time home buyer isn’t an individual who has NEVER owned a home, one qualifies as a first time homebuyer if you have owned a home in the past 3 years. Call me! Thank you!
