Denver Real Estate by Neighborhood! Five Points!

Yesterday I toured property– as if that’s a rare occurrence for me! I am typically out at least once a week touring Denver real estate. It keeps me current with the market, inventory, activity– being familiar with what’s on the market, what’s sold and is under contract gives me an edge as a Realtor. Besides, I love all the neighborhoods of Denver and touring property certainly isn’t a boring aspect of my work! I love it!

So back to yesterday– I came across this very proud old, old Denver 2-story in Five Points and had to go check it out. Here’s what I found!

• 1193 sqft on the main, 1193 sqft on the 2nd floor = 2386 total sqft/finished, no basement

• 3 bedrooms 2 1/2 baths

• Built in 1883! Wow!

• Lot size is 4720 sqft

• All brick construction except for the more recent addition on the back of the house

• No garage BUT the seller will have one built, for the right offer!

~Asking $510,000

The exterior was about flawless, considering its 128 years old! Really in very good condition– lots of great detail, beautiful paint colors, as you will see in the pictures. Nice landscaping all around, 2 patio/deck areas with some city views. Oh and just around the corner from light rail! Other very interesting old homes around it too.

Inside, it was a very well done remodel, contemporary style– with interesting features. Lots of faux finished walls, (maybe a little too much!) exposed brick, wood floors, built-ins, high ceilings, open stairs, nice fireplace, decent amount of storage, good sized bedrooms and 2 1/2 nicely remodeled bathrooms. One wall and cubby area under the stairs was dedicated to a picture display and a pinball machine! This home would be great for entertaining with the open floorplan– from the front living room, to the dining area to the great room and kitchen.
