“Looking Back to Move Forward” YourHub of Denver Post – Five Points

As a usual daily reader of The Denver Post, I came across this recent article in the YourHub section of the paper. “Looking Back to Move Forward” by Matthew Rodriquez

Community leaders in the Denver neighborhood of Five Points, say they would like to explore the idea of a streetcar that runs down the middle of Welton Street– making the area more pedestrian friendly and possibly spurring economic growth and development. I would think a more neighborly solution of a streetcar with multiple stops through the neighborhood would be a great idea– the light rail is a fitting solution for moving folks longer distances– where a streetcar running through a Denver neighborhood like Five Points would offer a unique mode of transportation within the community.

Denver Real Estate by Neighborhood! Five Points!

Yesterday I toured property– as if that’s a rare occurrence for me! I am typically out at least once a week touring Denver real estate. It keeps me current with the market, inventory, activity– being familiar with what’s on the market, what’s sold and is under contract gives me an edge as a Realtor. Besides, I love all the neighborhoods of Denver and touring property certainly isn’t a boring aspect of my work! I love it!

So back to yesterday– I came across this very proud old, old Denver 2-story in Five Points and had to go check it out. Here’s what I found!

• 1193 sqft on the main, 1193 sqft on the 2nd floor = 2386 total sqft/finished, no basement

• 3 bedrooms 2 1/2 baths

• Built in 1883! Wow!

• Lot size is 4720 sqft

• All brick construction except for the more recent addition on the back of the house

• No garage BUT the seller will have one built, for the right offer!

SOLD in 5 Days!

Yes!

3187 Blake St., #3 : An Awesome Fire Clay Loft, Downtown, Denver

The property was listed but the showings weren’t starting for 4 more days–

I had the photography done, had written copy about the property and had syndicated the virtual tour out to several public real estate search engine sites, when I got an email from an interested buyer and that was it!

If you are thinking of selling your home whether that is a loft, condo or a single family home– I would love the opportunity to meet, tour your home and discuss how I can put a SOLD sign on your property!
