While reading my Realtor Magazine, published by the National Association of Realtors, I came across this great free download application for taking inventory of your home. It runs on a PC or a Mac, yeah! I am an avid Mac user… 

Keep track of everything from furniture, to jewelry, artwork– your original purchase price, its current value, upload pictures, add receipts, make notes, and more!

Get your belongings documented!

This serves a great record that’s helpful for determining how much insurance to purchase and could be key when settling insurance claims. You can print a report for hard-copy record and I suggest giving a copy of this to another friend or relative in case of an emergency and you are unable to get to your copy or computer file.
